Biography of Nikita Trubetskoy Yurevich
Nikita Trubetskoy Y. (05/26/1699 – 16/10/1767), Russian statesman and military leader, Prince, Field Marshal (1756).
In 1715 – 1717 study abroad. From 1719 to the court service and in the Guard. In 1730 one of the active participants in the struggle against Councillors in support of the Empress Anna Ivanovna.
In 1740 – 1760 General Senate prokupop. He headed the investigation and trial of AI Osterman (1741), AP-Bestuzhev Rumin (1758), etc.
From 1760, Senator and President of the Military Board, since 1763, retired.
