Biography Cheremukhin Alexis
Cheremukhin Alexis (17 (29) .05.1895 – 08.19.1958), a Soviet scientist in the field of Aircraft, Ph.D. (1937), Professor (1934), Honored Scientist of RSFSR (1947). In 1917 – 1918 – instructor Kachin aviation school. In 1923 he graduated from the Moscow Higher Technical School. From 1918 he worked in the Central Aerohydrodynamical Institute, where he took part in the design and construction of first Soviet aircraft (1918 – 1922). Design and test the first Soviet helicopter (1927 – 1935). Since 1938 in the experimental AH Tupolev Design Bureau, since 1953 Deputy General Designer. Lenin Prize (1957).
