Biography Alisova Mikhail Ivanovich

Alisov Mikhail Ivanovich (1830 – 1898), Russian inventor in the field of printing. In 1869, developed the design of a multiplier device, which he named "Printing". In this apparatus the Russian revolutionaries propagated proclamations. A brochure describing its way past censors back in 1870 and printed copies of 20 thousand copies, Alice gave the audience before the opening of the Paris Exhibition (1878) took advantage of German businessmen Kvayser and Husak, appropriated Alisova invention and patented it in 1879 in his name.

In 1870 Alisov designed the original typewriters, which had 240 letters of several fonts and runs at speeds of 80-120 characters per minute. Alisov also invented photomechanical method of making dies for sheet music collection. For his invention Alisova awarded medals of the Russian Technical Society and the Paris World Exhibition and Philadelphia.
